Day One 34/40 is a specially formulated milk replacer designed for species with medium protein and medium fat requirements that are essential for neonatal growth. It is specifically recommended for coyotes, providing the necessary nutrients to support their early development.

Mixing Instructions:

To prepare the milk replacer, add the powder to warm water (approximately 100°F). Blend thoroughly until the powder is fully dispersed in the water. Feed the mixture promptly after preparation. Any leftover formula should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours. Note that mixing directions are based on volume, not weight, and 1 cup weighs approximately 120 grams.

Feeding Directions:

Coyotes:

• Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts warm water.
• Feed 2 to 3 tablespoons per ¼ lb. of body weight per day, divided into 4 to 6 feedings.
• Continue feeding this formula until weaning, gradually decreasing both the quantity of milk formula and the number of feedings per day as the weaning phase approaches.
