Electro-Stat

Description

Electro-Stat is a powdered electrolyte formula designed for oral rehydration and for introducing milk formula to neonates. It is recommended for all neonatal animals, providing essential electrolytes during critical developmental stages.

Guaranteed Analysis:

• Sodium: Minimum 5.30%
• Potassium: Minimum 0.05%
• Magnesium: Minimum 0.06%
• Calcium: Minimum 0.10% – Maximum 0.30%
• Dextrose: Minimum 30.0%

Mixing Directions:

Mix 1 teaspoon (4g) of Electro-Stat into 3 ounces of warm water (approximately 100°F) to prepare the solution. Stir until completely dissolved.

Feeding Directions:

For Rehydration:

• Administer the solution to provide approximately 40 ml of the solution per kg of body weight daily, divided into several feedings.
• Do not use it as the sole source of nutrients for more than one day.
• For oral use only.

For Introducing Milk Formulas:

-Electro-Stat can also be used to facilitate the introduction of milk formulas to neonates.

– After rehydration, gradually introduce the milk formulas over a period of 24 to 48 hours according to the following schedule:

• 3/4 part Electro-Stat solution + 1/4 part liquid milk formula.
• 1/2 part Electro-Stat solution + 1/2 part liquid milk formula.
• 1/4 part Electro-Stat solution + 3/4 part liquid milk formula.

For oral use only.
