Description

This milk replacer is expertly formulated for species that require low protein and medium fat for neonatal growth. It is particularly suitable for Virginia opossums weighing 45 grams up to weaning, as well as other species with similar milk compositions, such as ferrets.

Mixing Instructions:

To prepare the milk replacer, add the powder to warm water (around 100°F). Blend thoroughly until the powder is completely dispersed in the water. We recommend feeding the mixture shortly after preparation. Any leftover formula should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. Please note that mixing instructions are based on volume, not weight.

Feeding Instructions:

Virginia Opossums

• Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts warm water.
• Feed 1.5 to 2 teaspoons per 1 ounce of body weight daily, divided into 3 to 5 feedings.
• As the weaning phase approaches, gradually reduce both the quantity of milk formula and the number of feedings per day.
